Bananas with nuts
5 medium banana
50 grams butter
a couple of tablespoons soft brown sugar
2 tbsp. tablespoons of crushed walnuts
juice and zest of one orange
1 tbsp. spoon rum
1/4 h. Spoon spices
1/2 h. Spoon of nutmeg
Peeled bananas, cut in half lengthwise. In a frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add sugar, nutmeg and spices. Continuously stir, cook for just one minute to completely dissolve the sugar. Once the sugar has dissolved, goes to bananas pan, place them cut down. Cooking bananas a few minutes until lightly soft state and immediately passed on to the plate.
In another pan, send juice and orange zest. Cook a few minutes until a syrup. Add a tablespoon of rum.
Hot Bananas pour sauce and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Lightly sprinkle with nutmeg. Caramelized bananas serve an warm with vanilla ice cream.
