4 slices of loaf (cut into 3 cm pieces)
— 1/2 medium onion (diced)
— 1 teaspoon coarsely chopped fresh rosemary
— 5 cups chicken broth
— 200 gr. red potatoes (cut into small slices)
— 2 teaspoons of sweet and sour sauce
— 1 cup cooked chicken (cut into cubes or grate)
— Cooking or sea salt, to taste
— Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1.Fry the bacon until crisp on medium heat. Add the onion and rosemary and saute until the onion is soft and translucent, it will take about 3 minutes.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat the chicken broth. Add the potatoes, sweet and sour sauce and boiled chicken. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until until the potatoes are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the soup hot.
