Ingredients:

for meatballs:

  • minced meat 500 g
  • eggs 1 PC.
  • figure 1/3-1/2 Cup
  • onion 1 clove
  • salt 1 tsp.

for the gravy:

  • water 1.5 cups
  • sour cream 1 tbsp.
  • flour 1 tbsp
  • tomato paste 1 tsp.
  • Bay leaf

Preparation:

  • Boil the rice (round-unsteamed), preferably until soft.
  • Scroll onion and minced through a meat grinder, put the rice, sprinkle with salt. You can simply chop onions and fry until clear. Then combine with rice and meat. Sprinkle with salt. Mash the mixture with your hands. Make the meatballs small.
  • Roll in flour. Put a pan with hot vegetable oil, at some distance from each other. Fry about three minutes on one side. Immediately cover with a lid, so the meatballs do not fall apart. Carefully turn and fry the second side for about three minutes, the meatballs should be set.
  • Pour a glass of boiling water approximately to half of the meatballs. Add a little salt, tomato paste, diluted with water, Bay leaf. Cover, cook meatballs in sauce for 10-15 minutes on low heat.
  • Dilute the sour cream in half of Cup warm water, add 1 tbsp flour, stir well, and pour into meatballs. Close the lid and shake to mix.
  • Simmer 15-20 minutes on low heat.
