Grapefruit-and-Mint Mojito


Grapefruit red — 1 piece
Sugar — 0.3 cups
Water — 1/2 cup
mint leaves — 1/2 cup
White rum — 3/4 cup
Ice — 3 cups
Mineral water — 1 cup


To start a skillet to a boil sugar and water. Then remove from heat, add the mint leaves, cover and leave for about 10 minutes. Strain into a bowl and refrigerate. With a knife, cut the fruit with grapefruit peel long strips. Put in a bowl and pour the rum. Cover and leave for about 30 minutes.

Strain. Carefully cut out the segments of grapefruit, removing the membrane. In each glass put the 2-3 segment of grapefruit, add 0.75 cups of ice. Separately, mix 3 tablespoons rum, 2 tablespoons peppermint syrup and 0.25 glasses of mineral water, pour into a glass. Garnish with mint leaves.
